In a sunny, prosperous village, Chima and Kumi lived in a grand home surrounded by plenty but felt incomplete due to their inability to have children. Despite their wealth and Kumi’s kindness—stemming from her lineage as a descendant of the river goddess—they were unable to conceive, and the village whispered rumors about their situation.

Kumi, deeply desiring a child, visited many healers and doctors, but their efforts brought no results. One morning, while fetching water from a peaceful stream, Kumi met an old woman who appeared tired and thirsty. After offering her water, the old woman gifted Kumi a magical wish stone in gratitude. The woman instructed Kumi to make a wish, and with the stone in hand, Kumi wished for a child.
