On a flight, spoiled young man Tom complains about a crying baby and demands the mother and child be removed. His father, Mr. Johnson, forces Tom to sit next to them and help with the baby as a lesson in humility. Tom initially resists but starts to empathize with the mother as he helps care for the baby. After a mistake where he nearly poisons the child, Tom's father praises his son for his newfound empathy and considers him for a higher position in the company. Tom learns the value of kindness and humility through the experience.
