During Christmas, there's a crisis at Santa's workshop as gifts for children are discovered to be missing. Initially, Grant, an employee, is suspected of stealing the presents because he was the last person seen with them. Despite his protests of innocence, he is accused and ultimately fired, with a warning to find the gifts or face police involvement.

Grant, desperate to clear his name, suspects Roger, another employee, who was seen carrying a large duffel bag. Grant's friend, a kid, overhears the conversation and helps investigate. They discover that Roger is not acting suspiciously, and it becomes clear that the gifts were not stolen by him.

Meanwhile, the situation is worsened by the absence of the presents, causing distress for everyone, especially for those who had planned to give special gifts. The story ends with the characters still searching for answers and facing the threat of serious consequences if the missing gifts are not found.
