Could be a good fit for you. One thing you have to be prepared for is the amount of refunds and returns you will have to do. Check with your supplier, the one I have worked with was 7 days. Be familiar with email marketing campaigns, social media, etc. Utilize your fashion knowledge for value adds. It’s not a tough business to get into, but you need to really look at your numbers, and look at your profit over the course of 6 months. I say this because with discounts, bogo, returns, shipping; you can easily think you are making money in reality, you are just even of more times than mot negative. In my experience with clothing , email accusation is always the most important thing and micro-influencers are pretty important to the space. It’s much cheaper to use them then paid ads. Find a unique position and stick with it.

Maybe a long shot but one way to make a women’s fashion biz work would be to create your own designs. This could take some time, because you may need to develop some skills. But the learning of new skills, and the creative flow of inventing can be rewarding, even before you make sales.

I work with several very successful 9-figure ecommerce businesses. 2 were founded in 2018-2019, with no outside funding. All of them are in very saturated markets. That to say, don’t let saturation alone be a deterrent, there are always ways your marketing/product/offering can stand out from the competition.

This isn't going to seem super helpful but... I've started a very small time business in Action Figures of Star Wars only characters. Super slim area for profit unless you're huge or have licensing, but the first month ive managed to sell 100+ items and generate 3.5k Revenue. Don't expect it to be easy but if you have a unique spin to add to the market things will sell. My unique spin is affordability and unique designs that aren't available elsewhere. All that “ saturated market” means is that there is a lot of demand for it. It wont be easy but with the right approach you can carve out a pice of market. I do recommend that you do extensive research and make a proper business plan before you start with anything.

Branding is everything. Whoever has the largest and loyalist followers wins. It also takes time to build a brand, years. Unless you’re a celebrity or someone already with a massive following. Your products also have to be fashionable and represent what your customers pay for it. If it’s what you’re passionate about, that will drive you to keep going, even if things feel like they’re going nowhere.
